At 19 years old, Gabrielle Bello is the Operations Director of the YesSheCanCampaign, Co-Leader of The Climb is Our Story program, and Co-CEO of We Are Human, an organization dedicated to helping restore humanity to persons relegated to and living on the fringes of society throughout her hometown of Chicago. Additionally, Gabrielle is the founder of an online clothing company, Gabi’s Activism Shop, where she donates 100% of the proceeds to pro-immigration organizations and nonprofits. She is also a sophomore at The George Washington University, where she is pursuing a Bachelors in Human Services and Social Justice with a minor in Law and Society and a Masters in Public Administration. Gabrielle has been recognized with various awards, such as the Princess Diana Award, which is the highest accolade a young person can achieve for social action or humanitarian efforts, due to her work with the YesSheCanCampaign. She has also worked with companies such as the American Civil Liberties Union, The Obama Foundation, The Girls Opportunity Alliance, and Bumble. She desires to become a civil rights lawyer and inspire her peers to perpetuate the global fight to deconstruct the institutional discrimination our government thrives on, create a new system all together, and raise awareness to issues that people in America face on a daily basis so that they are never forgotten.
